Dear Students and Parents of Dorchester County Public Schools:

Dorchester County Public Schools are committed to the success of each and every one of our students.  We define that success in terms of each student completing his/her program of study and emerging college and career ready, in order to be competitive in our ever-changing global economy.
Towards that end, we have prepared this Webpage for each of our stakeholders.  It contains the information you need to plan proactivity for virtually every phase of school life. Please read it carefully and refer to it regularly.
Also, the 2014-2015 school year marks the beginning of my second four-year term as superintendent of Dorchester County Public Schools.  Accordingly, I have established eight specific Second Term Priorities for our school system to address during this period.  Both the insights and participation of all stakeholders are welcome with regard to any and all of these priorities.
In closing, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2014-2015 school year; let us work together this year in pursuit of our mission behalf of the children of Dorchester County.

Sincerely,

Henry V. Wagner, Jr., Ed.D.
